Based in Southern California, Curt R. Olson is an established real estate developer who has been a key member of the Nexus Development team since the early 1980s. Having joined Nexus as part of its Corporation/Central Division, Curt R. Olson successfully engineered corporate growth across Orange County before acquiring the company and assuming his present responsibilities as principal investor, chairman, and CEO.

One of the high profile projects Mr. Olson completed in 2022 was the Vivante Newport Center, which is on the site of the former Orange County Museum of Art and encompasses 99 assisted living and memory care apartments. With an emphasis on wellness and healthcare, the ultra-luxe property provides residents with housekeeping, fine dining, and chauffeured transportation, and has a nurse on-site around the clock. With a two-lane bowling alley adjacent to a bar and lounge area, it’s part of a group that includes the two-community campus Vivante on the Coast and Vivante North in Costa Mesa.

A longtime surfer, Curt R. Olson grew up on the water and considers boating a favorite pastime. He holds a business degree earned at the University of Southern California.
